The OTT RLS (Radar Level Sensor) is a radar sensor for contactless level measurement of surface waters. It uses pulse radar technology to determine the water level.
The RLS is installed above the water level to be measured, e.g. on bridges or jetties.
Its stable, relatively light and flood-proof housing is easy to assemble. No complex construction work is necessary.
Since the device is stationed outside of the water, weed growth or silting of the water body is completely unproblematic for the measuring operation.
The RLS covers a measuring range of 0.8 - 35 m. Standardized interfaces enable easy communication with data loggers and remote data transmission systems.
Compact and flood-proof, the RLS is almost maintenance-free and particularly durable. Its low power consumption and sophisticated design make it a cost-effective, practical and reliable alternative to conventional level meters.
