Pyranometers are sensors for measuring global and/or diffuse radiation. They are used all over the world, in meteorology, hydrology, climate research, for recording solar radiation, in material testing, for monitoring greenhouses, in building automation, to name just a few. In photovoltaics, pyranometers are used in particular in research and development and in large-scale PV systems.
It is equipped as standard with a level, corresponding adjustment screws and a plug-in cable with a length of 10 m, is individually calibrated and delivered with a calibration certificate. The pyranometer does not require a power supply! It delivers a small output signal of 0 to 20 mV proportional to the incoming radiation.
