Precipitation sensor with pulse output

The sensor is used to measure the amount and intensity of rain and works according to the tipping bucket principle. The device's collection area is 200 cm² and therefore complies with the guidelines of the German Weather Service. The measuring principle is based on the description in the WMO's "Guide to Meteorological Instruments No 8".
